Es handelt sich um eine freiwillige Plattform, die Unternehmen und Organisationen zusammenbringt, die sich f\u00fcr die F\u00f6rderung universeller Prinzipien in den Bereichen Menschenrechte, Arbeit, Umwelt und Korruptionsbek\u00e4mpfung einsetzen.<\/p>\n<p>Der Global Compact zielt darauf ab, den Unternehmenssektor zu mobilisieren, nachhaltige und verantwortungsvolle Praktiken einzuf\u00fchren, die im Einklang mit den UN-Zielen f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs) stehen. Unternehmen, die am Global Compact teilnehmen, werden ermutigt, die zehn universellen Prinzipien in ihre Strategien und ihren t\u00e4glichen Betrieb zu integrieren und Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Unterst\u00fctzung der SDGs zu ergreifen.<\/p>\n<p>Die zehn Prinzipien des UN Global Compact basieren auf weithin anerkannten internationalen Instrumenten wie der Allgemeinen Erkl\u00e4rung der Menschenrechte, der Erkl\u00e4rung der Internationalen Arbeitsorganisation \u00fcber grundlegende Prinzipien und Rechte bei der Arbeit, der Rio-Erkl\u00e4rung zu Umwelt und Entwicklung und dem \u00dcbereinkommen der Vereinten Nationen gegen Korruption. Diese Grunds\u00e4tze sind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Menschenrechte:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unterst\u00fctzen und respektieren Sie den Schutz der grundlegenden Menschenrechte.<\/p>\n<p>Duldet keine Menschenrechtsverletzungen.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arbeiten:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Gew\u00e4hrleistung der Vereinigungsfreiheit und wirksame Anerkennung des Rechts auf Tarifverhandlungen.<\/p>\n<p>Beseitigen Sie alle Formen von Zwangs- oder Pflichtarbeit.<\/p>\n<p>Beseitigen Sie Kinderarbeit.<\/p>\n<p>Beseitigen Sie Diskriminierung am Arbeitsplatz.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Umfeld:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Unterst\u00fctzen Sie einen pr\u00e4ventiven Ansatz zur Bew\u00e4ltigung von Umweltproblemen.<\/p>\n<p>Umweltverantwortung f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f6rderung der Entwicklung und Verbreitung umweltfreundlicher Technologien.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Anti-Korruption:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bek\u00e4mpfung aller Formen der Korruption, einschlie\u00dflich Erpressung und Bestechung.<\/p>\n<p>Unternehmen, die dem Global Compact beitreten, verpflichten sich, ihre Aktivit\u00e4ten im Zusammenhang mit diesen Grunds\u00e4tzen j\u00e4hrlich zu kommunizieren und so Transparenz und Rechenschaftspflicht zu f\u00f6rdern. Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden sie ermutigt, sich an lokalen und globalen Netzwerken zu beteiligen, um bew\u00e4hrte Verfahren auszutauschen und bei der Umsetzung der Grunds\u00e4tze zusammenzuarbeiten.<\/p>\n<p>Der UN Global Compact spielt eine wichtige Rolle bei der F\u00f6rderung der sozialen Verantwortung von Unternehmen und der Sensibilisierung f\u00fcr die Bedeutung von Nachhaltigkeit in der Wirtschaft. Es bietet einen globalen Rahmen f\u00fcr das Engagement von Unternehmen im Streben nach einer integrativeren und nachhaltigeren Entwicklung im Einklang mit der UN-Vision einer besseren Zukunft f\u00fcr alle.<\/p>\n<p>Der UN Global Compact umfasst eine Reihe von Grunds\u00e4tzen, die sich mit Umweltproblemen befassen und Unternehmen dazu ermutigen, nachhaltige Praktiken einzuf\u00fchren. Dazu geh\u00f6rt die Einf\u00fchrung geeigneter Umweltmanagementpraktiken, wie z. B. die Reduzierung des Verbrauchs nat\u00fcrlicher Ressourcen, die Minimierung des Abfallaufkommens und die Umsetzung von Energieeffizienzma\u00dfnahmen.<\/li>\n<li>F\u00f6rderung der Entwicklung und Verbreitung umweltfreundlicher Technologien: Unternehmen werden ermutigt, in die Forschung und Entwicklung sauberer und umweltfreundlicher Technologien zu investieren. Dazu geh\u00f6rt die Unterst\u00fctzung technologischer Innovationen, um die Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt zu verringern und den \u00dcbergang zu einer kohlenstoffarmen Wirtschaft zu f\u00f6rdern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Durch den Beitritt zum UN Global Compact verpflichten sich Unternehmen, diese Umweltprinzipien in ihre Gesch\u00e4ftsstrategien und ihren t\u00e4glichen Betrieb zu integrieren. Sie werden ermutigt, Ziele und Indikatoren f\u00fcr die Umweltleistung festzulegen, transparente Berichte \u00fcber ihre Praktiken zu erstellen und mit anderen Unternehmen und Interessengruppen zusammenzuarbeiten, um die \u00f6kologische Nachhaltigkeit zu f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich zu den Prinzipien des Global Compact haben die Vereinten Nationen auch die Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) entwickelt, die eine globale Agenda zur Bew\u00e4ltigung sozio\u00f6kologischer Herausforderungen darstellen. Die SDGs bieten einen umfassenderen Rahmen f\u00fcr gemeinsames Handeln f\u00fcr eine nachhaltige Zukunft und Unternehmen werden ermutigt, ihre Strategien und Praktiken an den umweltrelevanten SDGs auszurichten.<\/p>\n<p>Auch private Unternehmen sind Teil des Global Compact. K\u00fcrzlich haben die 193 Mitgliedsl\u00e4nder der Vereinten Nationen einstimmig die Agenda 2030 verabschiedet, einen globalen Aktionsplan, der die 17 Ziele f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs) festlegt. Diese Genehmigung erfolgte im Jahr 2015 und wird seitdem weltweit umgesetzt.
